This report from 2014 was elaborated in the framework of the project “Global circular economy of strategic metals - best-of-two-worlds approach (Bo2W)”. It describes the legal and institutional requirements in Ghana, the legal framework together with the draft hazardous and electronic waste control and management bill. It deals also with administrative requirements for enterprises engaging in collection and recycling of e-waste and car-waste. The last chapter describes administrative requirements for the export of hazardous waste for recycling.
